Anki Kaishi 15k [2026]

    • Kaishi 1.5k is a modern, community-driven Anki deck designed for beginner Japanese learners. It teaches approximately 1,500 essential words and ~400 kanji, focusing on high-frequency vocabulary, natural sentence order, and native audio.

    Despite “15k” being in some names (referring to the ultimate goal of 15,000 words), the Kaishi 1.5k deck is the complete starter pack.
