Without animation cancels, your combo must be clean. Use Slice → Dash → Slice → Backstep. Do not try to force an eat command. The new optimal damage window is shorter but safer.
The “infinite appetite” exploit is gone. You can no longer eat 15 grilled eels in one frame to achieve a 300% damage boost. The new hard cap is three simultaneous food buffs. Any additional consumable will overwrite the oldest buff.
