Target: 7.5 to 8 years old. The secret to cursive at this age is inclination. Many kids write straight up and down. Good PDFs will have a slanted line on the left margin (the inclinatorio) so the child aligns their letters with the angle of the sample. If you can't find the perfect PDF, make one in 5 minutes:
❌ Too much tracing (child becomes passive – needs copying)
❌ Lines too small (use ≥4 mm x-height until age 9)
❌ Only single letters (they need connected words by 7.5 years)
❌ Ignoring the ñ, ll, rr, ch and accented vowels
