After using this version for six years, I’ve discovered quirks that CELSYS later removed:

This is the controversial section. Modern hardware (RTX 4090, 64GB RAM) runs CSP 3.0 fine. But on older hardware—Surface Pro 4, Cintiq 13HD, MacBook Pro 2015—Clip Studio Paint EX 1.5.4 screams.

If you are running Windows 10, 8, or even 7, CSP 1.5.4 is objectively snappier. It lacks the "AI pose estimation" and cloud materials of newer builds, but many artists argue those are bloat features anyway.
