Look at the label on the bottom of the scanner.
Check for:
If it says “BSCAN TenPrint 1051” but the sticker shows another brand, the driver might be generic.
Warning: Avoid third-party "driver downloader" websites. They often bundle malware or outdated versions. Always use official or verified sources.
Option A – Neurotechnology (most likely)
Option B – Contact original vendor
If purchased via a government/ID system vendor (e.g., Crossmatch, HID, IDEMIA), contact their support portal.
Option C – Internet Archive / Wayback Machine
If BSCAN’s original site (e.g., bscan.com) is down, check archive.org for a cached driver page from 2018–2021.
A: This is a Windows PnP error. Run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, then retry installation.
