minutes = 24911
weeks, rem = divmod(minutes, 10080)          # 1 week = 10 080 min
days, rem = divmod(rem, 1440)                # 1 day = 1 440 min
hours, mins = divmod(rem, 60)
print(f"weeksw daysd hoursh minsm")
# → 2w 3d 7h 11m

Applied to 10 sample DVMM-143 files (fps=24), conversion preserved timing within ±1 frame (<=42 ms). Drop-frame cases corrected per SMPTE rules; styling tags translated to simple SRT markup. Playback in VLC and MPV showed accurate subtitle alignment.

This paper presents a method to convert DVMM-143 subtitle files in .engsub format to standard SRT using the convert024911 utility configured for a 24:09:11 (hh:mm:ss) session length. We describe parsing, timecode normalization, handling frame-rate discrepancies, validation, and automation. Results show lossless timing preservation and compatibility with common players.
