Eplan Library - Download Install

  • Click OK. The import will run. This can take 5–15 minutes for large libraries (e.g., Siemens full catalog).

    • If the part isn’t on EPLAN Data Portal:

    Method A — Using EPLAN Import/Install function (native .elk/.elm/.epd) eplan library download install

    Method B — Manual copy (offline or folder-based libraries) Click OK

    Method C — Manufacturer installer

  • On each client PC:
  • Install libraries once on the server. All clients will see them.

    • You’ve installed the library, but EPLAN doesn’t automatically know you want to use it. Do this immediately: If the part isn’t on EPLAN Data Portal:
