Limitation: You cannot download torrents via the Wayback Machine. The .torrent files were not archived due to storage limits. However, you can copy the magnet link text from archived pages (if visible) and paste it into BitTorrent client. This works about 30% of the time.

To understand the current proxy landscape, you must understand the shutdown. On May 17, 2017, the admin known as "SaM" posted a cryptic message: "ExtraTorrent has shut down permanently. We keep you advised to avoid fake ExtraTorrent websites."
