Do not simply double-click the setup file. Follow these steps precisely to avoid the "Driver is unavailable" error.

  • Before installing:

  • Install driver manually (most reliable method):

  • Alternative (if setup fails):

  • | Issue | Solution | |-------|----------| | Printer shows “Driver unavailable” | Uninstall device in Device Manager → reinstall using “Have Disk” pointing to extracted driver folder | | Labels print partial or offset | In driver settings → “Media Type” → change from “Gap” to “Black Mark” or vice versa; run calibration | | USB not recognized | Use different USB port; disable USB selective suspend in Power Options | | Blue screen (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) | Remove legacy driver via “Print Server Properties” → Drivers tab, then install v1.3.8 clean |

The extracted folder contains an automated installer. This is easier than manual installation.

  • Connect the Printer:
  • Click Finish once the process completes.
