To avoid seeing "hisuite proxy patch failed full" again:
This is the most common fix.
HiSuiteProxy.exe and select “Run as administrator.”Do not just update. Uninstall everything. hisuite proxy patch failed full
If the error persists:
If your PC is behind a corporate firewall, VPN, or uses a manual HTTP/HTTPS proxy, HiSuite Proxy’s local redirection (127.0.0.1:7777) will conflict. The patched HiSuite tries to send a request, but your system proxy overrides it, sending the request to the official Huawei server instead of the local one. To avoid seeing "hisuite proxy patch failed full" again:
Huawei’s HiSuite official client restricts firmware installation to signed, compatible updates only. HiSuite Proxy intercepts and redirects update requests to custom HTTP servers hosting firmware files. The “Patch failed full” error indicates that the proxy was unable to apply the necessary patches to the HiSuite client, preventing the “System Recovery (Full)” mode from completing.
If you have the correct version but still get the error, follow these steps: This is the most common fix
1. Change the HiSuite User-Agent The proxy tool modifies the "User-Agent" string sent to Huawei servers. If the string is malformed, the patch fails.
2. Check the "Board" Firmware Version The proxy tool needs to download a specific "Board Software" file to generate the unlock code.
3. Disable HTTPS Inspection (If applicable) Some newer proxy tools attempt SSL inspection which fails.
The proxy writes entries like 127.0.0.1 query.hicloud.com. If the hosts file is read-only or locked by another process, the patch fails.
