Q: My safe is old (pre-2010). Do verified keypads still exist? A: Yes, but you may need a “legacy verified” keypad. Contact Intellok directly with photos of your control board. They often have NOS (new old stock) verified units.
Q: The verified keypad arrived but looks different from my old one. Is that normal? A: Possibly. Intellok revises keypad designs. As long as the ribbon cable matches and the seller verified compatibility via your serial number, it will work.
Q: I lost the emergency override key. Can a verified keypad bypass that? A: No. Verified keypads cannot bypass physical override locks. You must contact a locksmith to impression a new key.
