Ir2153 Proteus Library Download -
Advanced users can create a Spice model:
Assuming you have downloaded a package containing IR2153.LIB and IR2153.IDX:
Copy both the .LIB and .IDX files into the LIBRARY folder.
Restart Proteus.
In the Device Selector, type IR2153 – it should now appear.
Proteus is not the best tool for high-voltage power IC simulation. LTSpice (free) and Tina-TI (free) have official IR2153 models from Infineon/Texas Instruments. You can: Ir2153 Proteus Library Download
Solution: Poorly created third-party symbols. You can manually edit the symbol in Proteus: right-click -> "Decompose" -> rearrange pins -> "Make Device".
To validate the effectiveness of the downloaded library, a standard half-bridge inverter circuit was constructed in Proteus. Advanced users can create a Spice model :

Upon running the transient analysis, the simulation yielded the following observations: Assuming you have downloaded a package containing IR2153
The IR2153 is designed to drive two power MOSFETs or IGBTs in a half-bridge configuration. Its key features include:
These features make the component ideal for applications such as electronic ballasts for lighting, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and induction heating. Simulating these applications requires a model that accurately represents the propagation delays, oscillator behavior, and the dynamic response of the floating high-side output.
If you can’t find a working library, or need 100% reliability, create a behavioral model:
This is complex, but ensures simulation without random third-party libraries.
