For the uninitiated, El Juego de la Vecindad del Chavo de Terror is a freeware indie survival horror game developed by Mexican fans (originally released in late 2023, with major updates in 2025 and now 2026). It brutally reimagines the classic Televisa sitcom as a first-person psychological horror experience.
The premise is simple but effective: You are "Chómpiras" (an original character, not El Chavo), a new tenant who moves into the iconic neighborhood after receiving a letter from someone named "Doña Cleotilde."
