Korg At2 May 2026
❌ No Audio Recording/Playback: It’s MIDI-only. You can’t load MP3 backing tracks or loops.
❌ Style Editing is Limited: You can’t deeply edit or create new styles on the unit—you need external software or the rare Korg style editing tool.
❌ Dated Connectivity: Uses 5-pin DIN MIDI (good), but no USB-MIDI or audio over USB.
❌ Discontinued: Long out of production (early 2000s), so availability is limited to used markets. Prices can vary wildly ($100–$300+).

The AT-2 (Automatic Accompaniment 2) is a compact, standalone sound module that generates real-time musical backing tracks. You control it via MIDI (most commonly from a keyboard), triggering chords and selecting styles while the AT-2 produces bass, drums, chords, and additional instrumental lines that follow your playing. It’s essentially the "brains" of an arranger keyboard in a palm-sized box. ❌ No Audio Recording/Playback: It’s MIDI-only
