This is where the "Lovely Craft" magic happens. You don't want the pistons to retract instantly—you want the victim to step fully onto the trap before it triggers. You need a monostable circuit to retract the pistons and then extend them again automatically.

💡 Note for Bedrock players: Replace the observer clock with two pistons facing each other and a redstone block on a 2-tick repeater loop. Observers are more reliable in Java for 1-tick pulses.
