In this context, the gallery becomes a museum of pedagogy. Each image tells a story of a lesson gone right (or horribly, hilariously wrong).
You won't find fluorescent tube lighting in these galleries. The best pieces utilize dramatic chiaroscuro: the eerie green glow of a will-o'-wisp, the red smolder of a forge in a demon’s workshop, or the cold, blue light of an ice giant’s runes. This lighting accentuates the "monstrous" features while highlighting the intimacy of knowledge transfer.
