Nonton Film Heroine 2012

However, Heroine is not without flaws. At nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes, the film feels overstuffed. Bhandarkar relies heavily on montage sequences and repetitive scenes of Mahi drinking, crying, and fighting.

By the third act, the tragedy feels exhausting rather than moving. The film touches on many themes—surrogacy, affairs, black money, mental health—but skims the surface of most. Unlike Fashion, which had a clearer arc of redemption, Heroine spirals into a darker, more nihilistic conclusion that might leave some viewers feeling unsatisfied. nonton film heroine 2012

However, Heroine is not without flaws

It is impossible to discuss Heroine without dedicating a section to Kareena Kapoor Khan. When the film released, critics were divided on the script, but unanimous in their praise for Kareena. She shed her "Poo" image (from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham) and transformed into a fragile, volatile, and desperate actress. By the third act, the tragedy feels exhausting

For Indonesian fans who recognize Kareena from romantic comedies like 3 Idiots or Bodyguard, seeing her in Heroine is a revelation. She learned to smoke on screen, wore deliberately disheveled costumes, and even changed her body language to look defeated. Her dialogue delivery, especially in the intense confrontation scenes, is considered some of her best work.
