Even with a perfect pack, things can go wrong. Here are the top three problems and fixes:

Issue 3: Sega CD games freeze after the first level.

Using an "extra quality" pack isn't about snobbery—it's about eliminating variables. When a game glitches with a low-quality BIOS, you waste hours tweaking settings. With a verified pack, you know the problem lies elsewhere.

Use command line (macOS/Linux) or HashCalc (Windows) to compare hashes:

md5 scph5501.bin

Match against known good dumps from public databases (e.g., Redump BIOS DATs).
