Genre: Racing Why it works: Racing games rely heavily on looped music and textures rather than hours of cinematic dialogue. Underground Rivals translates surprisingly well to a compressed format. Genre: Fighting Why it works: Similar to Tekken, this title is heavily action-focused. Compression often removes the "Krypt" unlockables and videos, but the gore and combat mechanics work well on the emulator.
This puzzle classic translates perfectly to the PSP. You must guide tiny green-haired creatures to the exit using unique abilities (builder, blocker, bomber). The graphics are simple 2D, which allows for incredible compression. The soundtrack is catchy, but the ripped version removes the music videos, leaving the core 150+ puzzles intact.
