Cause: Incorrect baud rate. Solution: On your Redsail’s LCD panel, go to Menu → Interface → Baud Rate. Set it to 9600 (or match whatever you set in Device Manager). Then in SignMaster → Plotter Manager → Advanced → set same baud rate.
