This is where most players fail. Save data is region-locked.

The Issue: You cannot use a PAL save file with an NTSC-U ISO. The game will tell you the data is "corrupt" or simply won't see it.

AetherSX2 gives you two ways to save, but they are not the same.

You need a specific file type. Googling the raw keyword will bring you to shady forum links. Here is what to look for:

Crucial Warning: Do not download .exe files. Legitimate PS2 saves are usually inside a .zip or .7z and are under 2MB in size. The Issue: You cannot use a PAL save

If you loaded a 100% save but characters are missing:

Save data sharing is legal. You are not pirating the game ROM (ISO); you are merely sharing configuration data. You still need to dump your own Naruto_Shippuden_Ultimate_Ninja_5.iso from your legally owned PS2 disc.
