Sometimes, but not recommended. Windows 10 drivers are incompatible with Windows 7’s kernel. However, some Intel and Realtek drivers are universal.
Will the PCG-61A11U run Windows 7 64-bit smoothly?
Yes. This model originally shipped with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Performance is excellent if you have at least 4GB RAM and an SSD.
Where can I get a recovery image for this model?
Search for “Sony Vaio PCG-61A11U Recovery Disc” on Archive.org. Some users have uploaded discs 1-3 including all drivers and original software.
Is there a single executable that installs everything?
