Mt6765 - Sp Flash Tool

  • (Optional) Untick preloader unless explicitly required. NEVER flash an incorrect preloader; doing so can brick the device requiring JTAG/unbrick services.
  • Click Download (green arrow) or Firmware Upgrade.
  • Power off the device completely. Remove battery if removable.
  • Connect device to PC via USB while holding required keys if needed (usually none for MediaTek; just plug in).
  • The tool should detect the device and begin flashing (progress bar and yellow/green/blue indicators).
  • Wait until a green checkmark appears indicating success.
  • Disconnect device and boot it up. First boot may take several minutes.

Not all versions support the MT6765. For stability with the Helio P65, use SP Flash Tool v5.2116 or newer (v5.2204 is recommended). Avoid very old versions (v3.x) as they lack support for modern DA files and security features like SLA/DAA. sp flash tool mt6765

  • Backup:
  • Battery charged to >50% and physical access to device buttons (Power, Volume keys) for test points if needed.
  • Disable secure boot unlocking protections if the vendor provides an unlock (some phones lock bootloader).
