Stk411210e Datasheet ❲HIGH-QUALITY❳
Note: exact numeric values vary by production batch and revision. A typical STK-class amplifier datasheet will include:
Designers refer to these specs to size power supplies, plan heatsinking, and ensure compliance with audio performance targets.
Power amplifier modules dissipate significant heat. The datasheet provides thermal resistance figures (junction-to-case, case-to-ambient) and maximum junction temperatures. Practical considerations:
Reliability also depends on derating supply voltage, avoiding sustained thermal cycling, and preventing input transients or DC faults that can drive outputs into clipping and stress the output stage. stk411210e datasheet
The STK411-210E is designed for high-quality stereo audio equipment such as mini-compos, powered speakers, and AV receivers.
The datasheet suggests a straightforward inverting amplifier configuration. Unlike newer Class-D chips, this requires a dual-rail power supply (±37V DC).
The stk411-210E is designed for use in audio equipment, providing a compact, efficient solution for audio amplification. It's commonly used in applications such as stereo audio amplifiers, TV audio systems, and other consumer electronics requiring audio amplification. Note: exact numeric values vary by production batch
If you suspect your STK411210E is blown (often indicated by no sound, distorted audio, or a burnt smell), here are a few tips:
Caution: Exceeding these values will damage the IC.
| Parameter | Symbol | Rating | Unit | |-----------|--------|--------|------| | Maximum supply voltage (no signal) | VCC max | ±39 | V | | Maximum supply voltage (with signal) | VCC | ±35 | V | | Peak output current | I_O peak | 10 | A | | Power dissipation (per channel) | P_D | 50 | W | | Junction temperature | T_j | +150 | °C | | Storage temperature | T_stg | -40 to +125 | °C | | Thermal resistance (junction-to-case) | θ_j-c | 1.5 | °C/W | Designers refer to these specs to size power
Important note: The STK411210E requires a well-dimensioned heatsink. With a typical stereo music signal, a 1.5°C/W heatsink (or better) is recommended to keep the junction temperature below 125°C.
The STK411-210E does not have internal thermal shutdown. You must rely on an external fuse and proper heatsinking. If it gets too hot, the solder joints inside the hybrid substrate will melt.
