Studio Kami is known for high-resolution renders, but v0.9 introduces dynamic camera angles during dialogue. Instead of the static "talking heads" common in visual novels, Episode 3 utilizes over-the-shoulder shots, Dutch angles during tense negotiations, and slow-panning establishing shots. The lighting engine has also been tweaked, moving away from the flat, bright aesthetic of early episodes to a moodier, film-noir palette that fits the espionage theme perfectly.
While The Agency is primarily a visual novel, Episode 3 v0.9 introduces light gameplay elements that prevent the experience from feeling passive.
