  • Select the drive where you want to install Windows. (Delete existing partitions on that drive if you want a clean install). Click Next.
  • The system will copy files and reboot several times. This takes 10–20 minutes.

  • You cannot simply copy the ISO file to a USB drive; it must be made bootable.

    Procedure:

  • Click START. Rufus will write the drive.

  • Despite its power, the Enterprise 23H2 ISO is not without challenges. The TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot requirements are strictly enforced, potentially forcing organizations to retire perfectly functional but older hardware (e.g., Intel 7th gen CPUs). Additionally, the "feature update" cadence (every 12-18 months) can strain IT resources, as each version (23H2, soon 24H2) must be tested against proprietary line-of-business applications.
