Be cautious: The Chinese version of the AX6000 (sold on .cn domains) may lock you into a Chinese Mi account. You cannot change the language of the web interface to English easily. The global ROM version has full English support. Your default password process differs slightly:
A: For the web interface (192.168.31.1), the username is admin. For SSH (jailbreak/telnet), users often use root, but that requires enabling developer mode, which is not for average users.

While there is no admin password, there is a default Wi-Fi password printed on the bottom label. This is what you use to connect your phone to the router to begin the setup.

Important Note for New Users: This Wi-Fi password only grants you access to the internet signal. It does not grant you access to the router’s administration settings.
A: You cannot recover the sticker password if it's faded. You must use the reset button to factory reset the router, which generates a new default Wi-Fi password (though it will likely revert to the one printed, or a generic one). Alternatively, connect via Ethernet cable; no Wi-Fi password is needed for wired connections.
