Or listening. You have followed 40 loves, some pure, some poison. But here is the truth: every story you just consumed is a confession. I wrote each romance about a different version of the same person—the one I never had the courage to approach. That person is you. Always has been."

Technically a romance with one’s own potential. This “null romance” storyline is for players who choose no partner. It unlocks a unique ending where your character becomes a mentor figure. While not a traditional relationship, the game counts it as one of the 41 due to its narrative weight.
What makes Chaity Part 2 revolutionary is how these relationships cross-impact one another. Romancing Character A in the Silken Court might permanently lock or alter your dialogue with Character B from the Iron Pact. For example, pursuing both Aria and Kael (the rivals to lovers arc) unlocks a unique “poly ending” where all three form a triad. Conversely, romancing Dorian the exiled prince while secretly courting his usurper sister leads to a catastrophic civil war ending.
