This section allows for subtle color and contrast adjustments often needed during retouching.

The Portraiture 2 window is divided into several key sections on the left-hand side. The main canvas acts as your preview.

⚠️ Important: This build does not support Apple Silicon natively (Intel only via Rosetta 2) and will not run on macOS Ventura (13) or Sonoma (14) without compatibility workarounds.

Most beginners make the mistake of applying Portraiture directly to the background layer. Don't do that. Here is the professional workflow using build 2308.1:

Before you can use the plugin, it must be correctly installed and licensed.

Duplicate your background layer (Ctrl/Cmd + J). Name it "Portraiture Base."

Set the Detail sliders to: Fine 100% / Medium 100% / Coarse 100% with Thresholds at 0%. Then reduce the plugin's overall opacity in the Fade dialog to 15%. This creates a "soft focus" dreamy look without losing texture.
