MyPark on PC (A Cautionary Tale): Here is where we acknowledge the elephant in the room. The online experience for NBA 2K17 PC is effectively dead. 2K shut down the official servers for 2K17 on December 31, 2018. You cannot play online MyPark, Pro-Am, or buy VC (Virtual Currency) directly through the store anymore.

For the offline purist, this is a blessing. The removal of online pressure means you can use mods to adjust VC prices, unlock all clothing, and max out your player without spending a dime of real money. However, for the competitive player, you should know that the PC version of 2K17 was riddled with "cheaters" (players using memory editors to get 7'3" point guards with 99 speed). If you want clean online ball, modern 2K on console is your only option.
